Designers from 27 regions of the Russian Federation presented collections at Moscow Fashion Week

Designers from 27 regions of Russia demonstrated collections at the Moscow Fashion Week. Footage of the March 18 event is published by Izvestia.

The designers of the brand Maison Kaleidoscope said that knitwear is back in fashion. The fabric, which is usually considered winter, is also suitable for spring. It will keep you warm. It will also emphasize femininity.

"Fishnet dresses, fishnet skirts, fishnet shorts are an expression of feminine energy, an expression of feminine beauty, aesthetics," Milana Artemkina, PR manager of the Maison Kaleidoscope brand, told Izvestia correspondent Artur Ishpulatov.

According to stylist Vladislav Lisovets, fashion is about carelessness, elegance is already the last century.

Over a thousand applications were submitted by designers to participate in the Moscow Fashion Week. Both renowned designers and aspiring fashion designers came to present their work.

For little-known brands, this event represents an opportunity. On it, fashion designers can find buyers even among famous people.

"I adore Russian designers. And I've been wearing our Russian designers for probably seven years now. And it doesn't matter to me whether it's known or unknown. If it resonates with me and impresses me, then I wear it with great pleasure," said singer Katya Lel.

In addition to domestic designers, fashion designers from nine countries are also taking part in Moscow Fashion Week. The event was a debut for most of them.

Designers from Tajikistan presented ethnic patterns in their works along with the European style.

"Some of the collections were as good as the European ones, and in some ways even better. This fashion week was very strong," said stylist Sergey Zverev.

The fifth day of Moscow Fashion Week ended on March 17. More than ten brands presented their collections as part of it. The final show was held by designer Igor Gulyaev. He presented a reinterpretation of fashion at the turn of the XIX–XX centuries under the influence of modern trends.
