Russian goalkeeper of the Tampa Bay Lightning Andrei Vasilevsky was recognized as the third star of the game day in the National Hockey League (NHL). This was announced on the NHL website on March 18.

The athlete made 21 saves in a 2-0 victory against the Philadelphia Flyers.

"The desire to play defense helps me a lot to increase my performance. It's a team effort. No goalkeeper in this league can be successful without a good team," Vasilevsky said.
