UK opened a criminal case after injuring a schoolboy with a knife in class


The Investigative Committee of Russia for the Kemerovo region has opened a criminal case under Article 293 of the Criminal Code ("Negligence") after a school student stabbed a classmate during a lesson. This was reported on March 18 in the press service of the investigative Committee for the region.
"On this fact, the territorial investigative department of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Kemerovo region – Kuzbass immediately organized a pre—investigation check, which resulted in a decision to institute criminal proceedings under Article 293 of the Criminal Code ("Negligence")," the department said.
It is clarified that the conflict between the children lasted for a long time, the injured child was threatened for a long time, but teachers and staff of the juvenile affairs department did not make efforts to resolve the conflict.
"The investigators of the Investigative Committee of Russia are conducting a set of investigative and other procedural actions aimed at establishing all the circumstances, causes and conditions that contributed to the incident," the Investigative Committee concluded.
On March 11, two eighth-graders were hospitalized in Nizhny Novgorod after being attacked by a classmate at school. The attacker was detained, a prosecutor's check was organized.
