The media reported details of Netanyahu's decision to resume hostilities.

The decision to resume hostilities was approved on Monday at a meeting held by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the Ministry of Defense in Tel Aviv. This was reported by Maariv on March 18.
"The decision to return to combat operations was finally approved during a discussion convened by Prime Minister Netanyahu in Ha-Kirya," the newspaper reported.
According to Israeli sources, this move is fully coordinated with the United States, which supports Israel's decision to exert massive military pressure on the Palestinian Hamas movement.
"This time, the fighting is taking place in conditions where humanitarian aid has not been delivered to the Gaza Strip since March 2," Maariv stressed.
It is clarified that the new combat plan refers to the advance of forces inside the Gaza Strip, the cleansing of a certain area while moving the civilian population from it to humanitarian areas, as well as the implementation of a program to facilitate voluntary emigration from the Gaza Strip for all comers.
In addition, after the "cleansing" of the territory, it is expected that the IDF will remain there – and not leave, as with the "raid method."
On March 18, the IDF announced the resumption of military operations against the Palestinian radical movement Hamas in Gaza. As reported by Reuters, Israeli airstrikes damaged three houses in Deir al-Balah in central Gaza: a building in Gaza City and targets in Khan Yunis and Rafah. Later, journalist Ravid said that Israel had warned the administration of US President Donald Trump in advance about the resumption of attacks on Gaza. According to Al Jazeera, 199 people were killed in the strike.
