Israel warned the Trump administration in advance about the resumption of strikes on Gaza

Israel has notified the administration of US President Donald Trump in advance of new air strikes on the territory of the Gaza Strip. This was announced on March 18 by Israeli journalist Barak Ravid on the social network X (Ex.Twitter).

"Two Israeli officials told me that Israel had notified the Trump administration in advance of the upcoming airstrikes and informed it of the targets," he said.

Currently, at least 44 people have been killed as a result of the airstrikes.

In addition to the restoration of the Gaza Strip, the issue of the Israeli presence in Syria came up at the Arab League summit.

On March 17, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that it was resuming military operations against the Palestinian radical movement Hamas in Gaza. As reported by Reuters, Israeli airstrikes damaged three houses in Deir al-Balah in central Gaza: a building in Gaza City and targets in Khan Yunis and Rafah.
