The Ministry of Energy revealed the status of the visa-free travel agreement with Malaysia

Russia expects Malaysia to agree on a bilateral agreement on visa-free travel, the Ministry of Economic Development told Izvestia. The Russian Federation had previously agreed to sign the same agreement with Myanmar.

"We plan to cancel visas with Myanmar in the near future. A similar agreement is currently under consideration by our Malaysian partners," the Ministry of Economic Development told Izvestia.

Direct flights are also planned to be launched in both directions.
