Some foods can trigger migraine attacks, a special type of headache that can torment a person throughout their life. Igor Maltsev, a neurologist, a doctor of the first category of the SM Clinic, listed such products on March 17 in an interview with Gazeta.Ru».

The greatest danger in this case is products containing caffeine, such as coffee, carbonated drinks, and tea. For more than 92% of patients, quitting caffeine can solve migraine problems.

"The next group of products is aged cheeses (cheddar, brie, parmesan, feta). The reason is tyramine, which is formed during cheese maturation. The longer the cheese is aged, the higher the tyramine content," the doctor warned.

Alcohol consumption can also trigger seizures. Maltsev highlights red wine, whiskey, beer and champagne in particular. Chocolate can also make you feel worse, as its use dilates the blood vessels of the brain.

"It is also worth noting: artificial sweeteners (especially aspartame, which is often used in processed foods); products with monosodium glutamate (provoke migraines in 10-15% of sufferers of this disease)," the neurologist said.

The use of cold and frozen foods, such as iced milk, ice cream, or cold drinks, also carries risks.

On March 15, Dr. Lepilova named the causes of neck pain when working at a computer. According to her, painful sensations in the neck area with regular use of gadgets are commonly referred to as "computer neck" syndrome. She explained that it implies the development of a complex of symptoms in humans that occur due to prolonged static tension of the neck and shoulder girdle muscles.
