Trump stripped Hunter Biden of US Secret Service protection

US President Donald Trump has stripped Hunter Biden, the son of the previous American leader, of protection from the US Secret Service (USSS). He announced this on March 17 in his social network Truth Social.

"Please keep in mind that from now on, Hunter Biden will no longer receive Secret Service protection," Trump said.

In his message, he stressed that Hunter's security team, currently vacationing in South Africa, consisted of 18 people, whose activities were paid for by American taxpayers.

He also stripped Joe Biden's daughter Ashley of Secret Service protection: her security team included 13 agents.

On March 17, Trump declared the illegality of the pardons signed by Biden to members of his family to the presidential administration. The Bloomberg news agency clarified that the right to pardon has long been considered one of the most absolute powers of the president.
