- The problem, which took 10 years of study by scientists, was solved by AI in two days.

The artificial intelligence (AI) developed by the American Google corporation solved the problem in two days, which human scientists coped with only after a decade of research. This was reported on March 17 by The Independent.
"After entering a short hint about how some superbugs acquire antibiotic resistance, the scientists received several suggestions from the AI, including one answer that they knew was correct," the publication clarifies.
It is reported that the AI experiment was conducted under the leadership of researchers from Imperial College London.
"Our results show that AI has the potential to synthesize all the available evidence and guide us to the most important questions and experimental plans," said one of the leaders of the study.
On March 14, it became known that Russian scientists at ITMO and the Almazov National Medical Research Center have created an artificial intelligence-based system that can automatically detect cardiac fibrosis based on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) data. For this purpose, a special algorithm has been developed that divides the organ image into segments, and then calculates the location and amount of scar tissue.
