Guard Private Andrey Nikitin repelled the attack of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the positions of the Russian Armed Forces

Guard Senior Sergeant Andrei Feofilov, along with reinforcements, headed for the Russian military stronghold attacked by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The Russian Defense Ministry on Tuesday, March 18, told about the exploits of the Russian Army soldiers in the area of the special military operation (SVO).

Feofilov drove the car and skillfully maneuvered, avoiding falling under the incessant mortar fire. Having discovered that an enemy FPV drone was heading towards the car, the senior sergeant of the guards avoided the collision, stopped the vehicle and, leaving the cabin, fired at the target with small arms.

After successfully delivering reinforcements to the scene of the clash, Feofilov loaded a wounded Russian serviceman into a car and took him to a hospital for further treatment.

The Ministry of Defense also noted the brave and competent actions of the guard of Private Andrei Nikitin, who performed a combat mission to hold positions at an important tactical line as part of a motorized rifle unit.

Nikitin noticed the movement of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the direction of the positions of the Russian troops and informed the command about it, after which he immediately began to repel the enemy attack. The Guard private skillfully conducted targeted fire on the enemy, at the same time not forgetting to control the air situation. He managed to eliminate four Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers and defend his territory.

Earlier, on March 17, the Ministry of Defense reported that Guard Sergeant Ivan Grintsevich was performing a combat mission to ensure the continuous delivery of ammunition to Russian motorized rifle units at the front lines and was hit by an AFU FPV drone. He quickly got his bearings in a difficult situation and was able to steer the car away from the drone's flight path.
