US President Donald Trump expressed hope for success in discussing with Russia the possibility of a peaceful settlement of the conflict in Ukraine. He stated this on March 17 during a visit to the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington.
The American leader also confirmed plans to hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"Let's see if we can work out a peaceful agreement on a ceasefire and peace. I think we will succeed," he said.
At the same time, Trump also noted that he does not believe that the defeat of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kursk region, the freezing of the provision of US military assistance to Kiev has led.
