The increase in salaries of couriers in Moscow is related to working conditions and the increasing demand for their services. HR expert Alexander Sivogrivov told about this on Monday, March 17.

According to him, the majority of Russians switched to shopping on marketplaces, the need for couriers increased, which led to higher salaries.

"The market generates offers. The need for delivery is growing, and then couriers are needed. A bonus is required to attract them. The bonus is the salary. Conditions are also improving: they provide various vehicles and so on," the specialist explained in an interview with The Paragraph.

The speaker stressed that a strong boost to the demand for delivery occurred during the pandemic. Over time, this trend is only growing, as is the need for employees to serve orders.

Earlier, SuperJob service specialists came to the conclusion based on the results of a study that the salary of the capital's couriers exceeds the salary of specialists with higher education by 19%. 360.ru .

The median salary for couriers in the capital is 130 thousand rubles, and for specialists with higher education — 105 thousand rubles, RT reports.

On March 6, it was reported that the salary increase for courier vacancies was +25%. In March of this year, delivery workers received an average of 138.3 thousand rubles.

Before that, on March 4, the media named the most in-demand specialists in the food industry. Employers found the greatest need for sales consultants and sales cashiers, sales representatives.
