All participants of the KHL playoffs of the 2024/25 season have been determined

All the teams of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) championship that will participate in the 2025 Gagarin Cup have been determined. The last participant in the playoffs was Sibir, which defeated Barys on March 17.

According to Sport-Express, Traktor, Salavat Yulaev, Metallurg, Avtomobilist, Ak Bars, Avangard, Admiral and Sibir will take part in the decisive games from the Eastern Conference clubs.

The Western conference will be presented by Lokomotiv, Dynamo Moscow, Spartak, CSKA, Dinamo Minsk, SKA, Severstal and Torpedo.

The current Gagarin Cup winner is Metallurg.

On March 11, Dynamo Moscow lost to Neftekhimik from Nizhnekamsk in the KHL regular season match. This secured the first place for Lokomotiv Yaroslavl in the Western Conference.
