Trump accused Iran of organizing the Houthi attacks and threatened a harsh response.

US President Donald Trump has accused Iran of orchestrating many of the attacks carried out by the Yemeni Houthis and threatened harsh retaliatory measures. He expressed the corresponding opinion on March 17 on the Truth Social social network.
"Let no one be mistaken! Hundreds of attacks carried out by the Houthis, sinister bandits and thugs based in Yemen who are hated by the Yemeni people, originate from Iran and were created by it," the American leader wrote.
He also threatened that any new Houthi attack would be met with a harsh response, and hinted that retaliatory measures "may not end there."
"From now on, every shot fired by the Houthis will be considered as a shot fired from Iran's weapons and under its leadership. Iran will be responsible and will face serious consequences," Trump added.
Trump announced on March 15 that he had ordered the American military to begin military operations against the Houthis in Yemen. Later, on March 16, Al Masirah TV channel said that the US army had carried out an airstrike on a power plant in Dhayan in the province of Saada in northern Yemen.
On the same day, Ansar Allah announced that they would reach a new level of escalation in response. According to the latest data, 53 people were killed as a result of US strikes in Yemen.
