St. Petersburg will receive 2.2 billion rubles for the construction of the "brown" branch

The federal authorities will provide St. Petersburg with a loan for the construction of the Krasnoselsko-Kalininskaya metro line. The tranche was approved by a government commission, the finance committee told 78 TV channel.

The city on the Neva River will receive 2.248 billion rubles. With this money, a "brown" branch line will be laid from the Kazakovskaya station to the Obvodny Canal-2 station from the Krasnoselskoye electric depot, including design. A section from Kazakovskaya to Putilovskaya will also be built.

Earlier, the authorities of the Northern Capital demanded to prepare a draft layout and surveying of the territory to accommodate the section of the new "brown" line from Karetnaya to Polyustrovsky Prospekt — 1. The work should be completed by March 2026.

Earlier it was reported that the construction of the subway in the budget of St. Petersburg for 2025 was allocated to a separate item. In total, 170 billion rubles have been allocated to the city's budget for the construction of the subway for the next three years.
