Szijjarto announced Hungary's refusal to support a new €20 billion aid package for Ukraine

Hungary did not support the allocation of military aid to Ukraine in the amount of € 20 billion at a meeting of the European Union (EU) in Brussels. This was announced on March 17 by Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto, a video recording of the speech was posted on Facebook (owned by the recognized extremist Meta company, its activities are prohibited in the Russian Federation).

He also stressed that Hungary would not agree to any steps for Ukraine's accession to the EU until the rights of the Hungarian national community in Transcarpathia are restored.
