A new dump truck based on the Valdai 12 was introduced in Russia

Saransk Dump Truck Plant (SAZ) together with the Modern Transport Technologies Group of companies (GC "STT") presented a dump truck with three-sided unloading on the chassis of a bonnetless truck "Valdai 12". The vehicle is designed for the transportation of bulk and bulk cargo in the agricultural sector and in the municipal sector, the GC "STT" said in a statement. which was received by Izvestia on March 17.

The all-metal platform with the possibility of unloading on three sides allows you to speed up work and avoid unnecessary maneuvering. The volume of the cargo platform is 6.38 cubic meters, the use of sets of extended sides makes it possible to increase it more than twice (up to 15.3 cubic meters). The load capacity of the machine is 6590 kg. The platform is powered by a hydraulic tilting device with a telescopic four-link hydraulic cylinder manufactured by SAZ.

The car is based on the Valdai 12 mid—size chassis (3860 mm wheelbase). With a total length of 6808 mm, the maximum turning radius is 6.5 m, which is called the best in its class. The Valdai 12 is equipped with a YaMZ-534 diesel engine (169 hp; 662 Nm) paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The dump truck is equipped with a rear air suspension and low-leaf front springs, as well as an air brake system. There are three seats in the cabin.

SAZ produces dump trucks, tow trucks, food and fuel tanks, as well as utility vehicles on the chassis of the Gazon Next, Gazelle Next and various models of the Valdai family.

On February 19, STT Group announced that sales of the new all-wheel drive minivan Sobol NN 4x4 had started in Russia. A G 2.5 diesel engine with a capacity of 149.6 hp (420 Nm) is installed under the hood, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission.

The Sobol NN 4x4 is equipped with a Part-Time all-wheel drive system. It allows you to connect the front axle when driving on slippery surfaces or off-road, and on well-paved roads, the torque is transmitted only to the rear wheels.
