A man was injured when a mine detonated in the Belgorod region.


In the village of Yasnye Zori, Belgorod region, a man was injured by a detonated kolokolchik mine, regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on March 17 in a Telegram channel.
He clarified that the victim's condition was serious, and ambulance staff were taking him to the city hospital with a mine-explosion injury and traumatic amputation of his foot.
The man is receiving all the necessary assistance, Gladkov added.
The day before, Gladkov reported on a woman who was injured as a result of the dumping of an unmanned aerial vehicle by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). He added that the victim was taken to a regional hospital with a shrapnel wound to her back, and after receiving medical attention, she was released for outpatient treatment.
