Peskov: the participants of Operation Potok will be awarded

Participants of operation "Stream" ("Pipe") Awards will be presented for the penetration of the Russian military into the rear in the Kursk region. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on March 17.

"As for the award, of course, there will be appropriate representations from the Ministry of Defense," said the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation.

Peskov also noted that a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and the participants in the operation is not yet planned. He added that the Russian leader had contacts with the Russian military who took part in the operation.
