The Investigative Committee opened a case on the death of a little girl in the entrance of a house in Khabarovsk

A criminal case has been opened in Khabarovsk over the death of an eight-year-old girl on the landing in an apartment building. This is reported by the SU IC of Russia for the Khabarovsk Territory and the EAO.

The child's body was found on Monday, March 17, in the entrance of the house on Podgaev Street. The schoolgirl got into a narrow space between the flights of stairs, as a result of which, according to preliminary data, the child's death occurred. As noted in the UK, earlier the girl was noticed riding on the stair railing.

A criminal case has been opened under Part 1 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Causing death by negligence." Witnesses are being questioned, and examinations have been scheduled. All the circumstances of the tragedy are being established, IA AmurMedia writes.

The prosecutor's office has also begun its investigation into the incident.
