The words of Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga that Kiev does not recognize the loss of territories, and also refuses to prescribe restrictions for its armed forces and refusal to join NATO and the European Union in the peace agreement, do not solve anything. This statement is based only on relevant requests from the Democratic Party of the United States. Andrey Klimov, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, said this in an interview with Izvestia on March 17.

Earlier that day, RBC-Ukraine published an interview with Sibiga. In it, he stressed that Kiev's position on the settlement of the conflict is spelled out in the so-called peace formula. Also, he noted, the principle of "Nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine" is important.

"Kiev has no reason for this. They are just saying this because the pro-Hayden and pro-Deception forces in Europe are asking for it. They continue to serve the same masters that [US President Donald] Trump defeated in the election," Klimov commented.

According to him, now everyone in Washington understands that the United States was waging a proxy war against Russia, launched by the democratic administration in the White House.

"Therefore, everything that is voiced by certain individuals from Kiev is interesting only from the point of view of who and what inspires them. And so, in general, this does not solve anything anywhere, it's just a competition between the outgoing forces of the neoliberals, who are now entrenched in continental Europe and the United Kingdom, and the United States, which are now led by Republicans," the politician concluded.

Earlier, on March 5, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that the Ukrainian conflict is a proxy war between the United States, which supports Ukraine, and Russia. In addition, the US Secretary of State added that the plan of Ukraine and its allies is to "give as much as it takes."

Then, on March 14, Trump said that discussions on a possible ceasefire in Ukraine with Putin were progressing quite well.
