A pensioner stabbed a passenger on a suburban train


A pensioner attacked a passenger on a suburban train, stabbing him with a knife and a glass bottle because of the theft of a backpack. The victim was hospitalized. This was announced on March 17 by the press service of the Department of Transport (UT) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the Central Federal District (CFD).
"The duty station of the linear police department at the Sergiev Posad LU station of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia at the Moscow-Yaroslavskaya station received a message that there is an injured passenger in the last carriage of the Moscow—Alexandrov electric train arriving at the station," the agency's website says.
According to the agency, the attacker stole the victim's backpack from a shelf for hand luggage and tried to leave the car. The owner of the accessory caught up with him, after which the attacker hit him on the head with a bottle, and then with a knife in the side. After the attack, he fled the scene.
Later, according to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, transport police officers detained a previously convicted man from Sergiev Posad. When trying to detain him, he fired a gun into the air.
A criminal case has been opened against the suspect, and a preventive measure has been imposed on him in the form of a ban on certain actions.
On March 14, a man who attacked a subway employee was detained in Moscow. The attacker took an object similar to a knife out of his pocket and began waving it in front of the security service inspector, expressing threats to life and health. The patrol officers who arrived at the scene detained the suspect.
A criminal case has been opened against the defendant under Articles 116 ("Beatings") and 119 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Threat of murder"), and a preventive measure has been imposed on him in the form of a written undertaking not to leave.
