A man died when a car overturned in Transbaikalia

In the Borzinsky district of the Trans-Baikal Territory, a man was killed as a result of a car overturning. The regional State Traffic Inspectorate reports this in its Telegram channel.

The accident occurred on Sunday, March 16, on the 1st km of the local road leading to the urban-type settlement of Sherlovaya Gora. It was previously established that the 40-year-old Honda Fit driver lost control, causing the car to flip over.

The driver of the car received various injuries, from which he died on the spot. Police officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident, writes ChitaMedia news agency.

Earlier on March 17, the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Russian Interior Ministry told Izvestia that 405 road accidents were recorded on Russian roads over the past weekend, in which 45 people were killed and 515 injured. 36 of the dead were drivers and passengers of vehicles.
