On March 17, the Council of the European Union (EU) approved the payment of €3.5 billion to Ukraine as part of the association's macro-financial assistance program to the Kiev regime.

"Ukraine will soon receive about 3.5 billion euros after the [EU] council approved the third payment of non-refundable grants and loans <...> under the [program] Ukraine Facility," the press release says.

It is indicated that Kiev has satisfied all the necessary conditions for the next tranche, including reforms to increase renewable energy production, simplify border crossing procedures and develop an agricultural development strategy.

Earlier in the day, German Foreign Minister Annalena Burbock announced the allocation of €3 billion in aid to Ukraine from Germany. Thus, according to her, the annual volume of Berlin's aid to Kiev will again reach € 7 billion. She also called for measures to finance the security of Europe and Ukraine at the EU level.
