Germany will provide additional assistance to Ukraine in the amount of €3 billion. This was announced on March 17 by German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbok.

According to her, tomorrow the German constitution should be amended, which will allow Berlin to increase assistance to the Kiev regime.

"In addition to investments in security and infrastructure <...>, we are finally allocating another €3 billion to support Ukraine in 2025. This means that Germany will continue to provide Ukraine with €7 billion [per year]," the minister said during a conversation with reporters before a meeting of the Council of the European Union (EU) on foreign affairs in Brussels.

Burbock also called for increased investments in the security of Europe and Ukraine at the EU-wide level.

The German newspaper Die Zeit reported on the approval of a new aid package for Ukraine in the Bundestag on March 14. According to the newspaper, the additional funding became part of a comprehensive financial package agreed between the Christian Democratic Union (CDU), the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD) and the Greens.
