The new Geely EX5 crossover has entered the Russian market


Geely has announced the launch of sales of the EX5 model in Russia, which is the first all-electric model on the Russian market. The model is available in two trim levels priced from 4.1 and 4.4 million rubles, respectively, the company said in a statement received by Izvestia on March 17.
The electric motor develops 218 hp, front-wheel drive. With a mass of 1,840 kg, the car is able to accelerate to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds. The Geely EX5's fast direct current battery charging time from 10 to 80% is 28 minutes. The battery at maximum charge provides a range of up to 430 km (according to the WLTP cycle).
The basic package includes 18-inch wheels, diode optics, a 15.4-inch central display with a smartphone screen duplication function and Bluetooth support, a 10.2-inch digital dashboard, single-zone climate control, cruise control, an all-round camera system, rear parking sensors, a six-speaker audio system, and a heating system. all seats and steering wheel winter package.

Geely promised a 6—year or 150,000 km warranty on the crossover (whichever comes first), and an 8-year or 150,000 km warranty on the traction battery.
On March 14, GAC announced that the flagship GS8 in the GX Traveller version, which has a different design and options, will cost from 4.65 million rubles in Russia, including discounts. The main difference between the GS8 GX Traveller and other versions of the crossover is a special body kit in an off-road style.
