The media reported on the recognition of the defeat of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Ukrainian conflict

The militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) believe that Ukraine has already been defeated in the conflict with Russia. This was reported on March 16 by the newspaper El Pais, citing about 30 Ukrainian soldiers.

"In fact, we have already lost — just because of all the deaths," the publication says.

Nevertheless, one of the Ukrainian soldiers expressed the hope that Russia and Ukraine would be able to take steps to normalize relations. He noted that there are many people with family ties living in both countries.

On January 13, it was reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces acknowledged that attempts to counterattack in the Kursk region had failed. The Russian military managed to repel the enemy's assault and continue attacking.
