Since 2011, 290 production facilities with a total area of about 3 million square meters have been built in Moscow. Of these, 270 thousand "squares" were introduced in 2024, the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, said in his personal blog.

The city government offers tax incentives to industrialists, concludes offset contracts and creates other preferences that stimulate the creation of new industries. Investors who invest in the construction of facilities are exempt from related payments to the budget to the maximum, and in many cases land can be obtained without bidding and for only 1 ruble.

For example, three buildings of the Alabushevo technopark with a total area of 53.5 thousand square meters were put into operation in Zelenograd. The buildings are designed so that they can easily be converted to meet the needs of a particular manufacturer. Today, medical products are produced here, innovative veterinary drugs are being developed, and components for the oil and gas sector are being manufactured.

In the east of Moscow, in Golyanovo, JSC MEL has implemented a large-scale investment project to create a production of lifting and transport equipment.

The Rudnevo Industrial Park of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ in the Kosino-Ukhtomsky district has increased its area by more than 48 thousand square meters. Production areas at the Pechatniki site of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ have also increased by 34 thousand "squares".

The development of the industrial and production infrastructure of the capital continues. Currently, 71 more facilities are under construction with a total area of more than 844.6 thousand square meters. At least three modern production facilities will be operational this year.
