Zakharova criticized the UK's plans to deploy peacekeepers in Ukraine

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova commented on the UK's plans to send peacekeepers to Ukraine on March 17.
"The Empire lost the scientific and technological revolution in the 20th century and is exploiting the "carriage of the past" - intrigue, colonialism and piracy with theft. You can't go far in this carriage," she told RIA Novosti.
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry noted that the kingdom, for example, is not able to place astronauts in space, create a car for the Arctic or build a space station.
The Tomes newspaper reported on March 16 that Ukraine's allies want to send over 10,000 peacekeepers to the country. About 35 countries have agreed to supply weapons, logistical and intelligence support to the "stretching force" mission.
Prime Minister Keir Starmer said on March 15 that Western military personnel would gather in the UK on March 20 to develop practical plans to support the future security of Ukraine by soldiers from these states. He specified that the West will increase the Ukrainian defense capability. Starmer confirmed, among other things, that the countries are considering the option of deploying military personnel on the territory of Ukraine after the end of the conflict.
