A resident of Kamchatka fictitiously registered more than 115 migrants


The police Department No. 2 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky opened a criminal case against a local resident who illegally registered at least 115 foreign citizens in her apartment. This was reported on March 17 in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Kamchatka Territory.
The person involved in the case is a 39-year-old woman who is unemployed and previously convicted of a similar crime. According to the investigation, she fictitiously registered more than 115 migrants who did not live with her. The malefactor received money for registration.
"Law enforcement agencies have chosen a preventive measure for the woman in the form of a subscription not to leave and proper behavior," the department's Telegram channel reported.
Article 322.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Fictitious registration of a foreign citizen or stateless person at the place of residence in the Russian Federation") provides for a penalty of imprisonment for up to three years.
Earlier, on January 13, police officers raided a nightclub on Yeniseiskaya Street in northeastern Moscow and found 26 migrants who were illegally in Russia. 18.8 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation by a foreign citizen or a stateless person of the rules of entry into the Russian Federation or the regime of stay (residence) in the Russian Federation").
