Five people were injured in an accident near Novosibirsk


Five people, two of whom are minors, were injured in an accident in the Barabinsky district of the Novosibirsk region. This was announced on March 17 by the State Traffic Inspectorate of the region.
According to law enforcement agencies, the driver of a Nissan Avenir car was driving intoxicated towards the village of Belovo, drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a VAZ-2115 vehicle driven by a driver under the age of 18.
"As a result of the accident, a minor driver and four passengers were injured, two of whom were minor passengers of a VAZ—2115 car born in 2010," TASS quoted the agency's employees as saying.
A traffic police squad and an investigative task force are working on the scene to clarify the circumstances of the accident. All the injured were taken to the hospital.
Earlier, on March 15, a massive road accident occurred on the 317th km of the M-5 Ural highway in the Putyatinsky district of the Ryazan region, as a result of which four people were killed and three injured. According to preliminary data, four cars collided — Hyundai Sonata, Kia Sorento, Lada Granta and VAZ-2112.
