Moscow will introduce a "yellow" weather hazard level due to icy conditions. This was announced on Sunday, March 16, according to the website of the Hydrometeorological Center.

The warning will be valid from 21:00 on Sunday, March 16, to 09:00 on Thursday, March 20.

A similar level of danger will be in effect in the Moscow region, the website notes. kp.ru .

Residents of some other regions of central Russia were also warned about the ice, in particular, the Belgorod, Bryansk, Vladimir, Kaluga, Kursk, Ryazan, Tver and Tula regions.

Earlier in the day, meteorologist, leading specialist of the Phobos weather Center Evgeny Tishkovets reported that on the night of March 16, the capital recorded the most severe frosts since the beginning of spring. In the Moscow region, the thermometer dropped to -15 degrees, writes IA Regnum.

At the same time, Tishkovets said that the spring weather would return to Moscow on Friday, March 21. During the day, the air temperature will rise to +4...+9 degrees. On March 15, Tishkovets, in an interview with Izvestia, noted that at the beginning of next week, starting on Monday, March 17, winter in the capital will remind itself again. The temperature at night will be -1...-3, during the daytime — about 0.

The day before, the heat record was updated in the capital. The air temperature at the VDNKh base station was +11.8 degrees at 08:00. This is 0.4 degrees higher than the previous record for this day, set in 2001, writes NSN.
