The Investigative Committee opened a case of a terrorist attack on the fact of looting and murder of residents of the Kursk region

A criminal case on a terrorist act was initiated on the fact of looting and murder of civilians in the Kursk region by the Armed Formations of Ukraine (VFU). This was reported on March 16 in the Telegram channel of the Main military investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

It was established that the militants of the VFU were engaged in looting and committed the murder of three civilians in the village of Kazachya Loknya, Sudzha district, no later than February of this year.

It clarifies that the case was initiated under paragraphs "b" of Part 3 of Article 205 ("Terrorist act causing death to a person") and paragraphs "a", "c" of part 3 of Article 356.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Looting committed by a group of persons by prior agreement with the use of violence dangerous to life or health").

A criminal case on the terrorist attack was also opened on the fact of the murder of eight civilians in the Sudzhansky district of the Kursk region by the VFU, the press service of the GVSU of the Investigative Committee of Russia reported on March 16. It has been established that the Ukrainian militants committed the crime no later than August last year.
