The number of evacuated residents of the Sudzhansky district of the Kursk region has increased to 395 people. This was announced on March 16 by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
"Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and other departments have taken out 395 people," the Telegram channel says.
The evacuees are provided with everything they need. The ministry also reported that psychologists from the Ministry of Emergency Situations are working with the victims at temporary accommodation centers.
Evacuation measures are continuing.
Alexander Khinshtein, Acting Governor of the Kursk Region, reported on the afternoon of March 16 that 371 people, including 14 children, had been removed from the liberated territories of the region since March 12. He clarified that 220 residents were placed in a temporary shelter, while the rest were taken away by relatives and friends.
