Football fans staged a mass brawl in Khimki near Moscow


A mass brawl took place in Khimki near Moscow. This was announced on March 16 by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Moscow region.
According to Telegram channels, a scuffle occurred between fans of football clubs Dynamo-2 and Kaluga. Eyewitnesses posted footage of the incident on social media. The video shows that about 20 people from each side took part in the brawl.
According to police, the conflict between the Russians occurred near one of the houses on Sokolovskaya Street in the Novogorsk neighborhood. It was previously established that a verbal altercation took place between two groups of men, which provoked a fight.
"Possible participants in the brawl were identified in the number of seven people, three of whom had administrative protocols drawn up," the Telegram channel of the Moscow region police said.
It is noted that no one sought medical help. Law enforcement officers establish the circumstances of the conflict.
On March 12, police detained 42 people in Noginsk near Moscow due to a mass brawl that took place on Lenin Square. It was noted that the conflict began with an argument that escalated into a scuffle, during which several shots were fired.
