Since March 12, more than 370 people have been removed from the liberated territories of the Kursk region. This was announced on March 16 by the acting head of the region, Alexander Khinshtein.

"Since March 12, 371 people have been taken out of the liberated settlements, including 14 children," he wrote on the Telegram channel.

According to him, 220 evacuated residents were transported to regional temporary accommodation facilities, where they are receiving assistance. The rest of the people were taken away by relatives and friends.

Khinstein stressed that the evacuation work is going on non-stop and 70 people were taken out on Sunday alone.

The day before, Khinstein reported that 378 people had been excluded from the register of missing residents of the Kursk region due to the fact that they had been found. According to the acting governor, due to the massive return of people from the liberated settlements of the region, the register is being adjusted.
