Before Russian President Vladimir Putin's trip to the headquarters of the Kursk group of the Russian Armed Forces, all the necessary logistical and technological preparations were carried out. This was announced on March 16 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov in an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin.

He added that the trip to the Kursk region was a personal decision of the head of state.
