- Residents of the Sudzha district told about the atrocities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces militants

Residents of the liberated village of Kazachya Loknya and the town of Sudzha in the Kursk region told Izvestia how militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) mocked the civilian population.
"They broke into Suju. Who runs away, who rides, who stands — they shot at whoever got caught," recalls Sergei Tabaev, a resident of Sudzha.
According to him, all the bodies were promptly removed, buried or burned so as not to leave traces. And when it became clear that the Russian military would liberate the village, the Ukrainian Armed Forces removed all the shot cars.
"There hasn't been a single day when Suja hasn't been shot at. They wanted to level it all to the ground. And if they are asked why they are doing this, they say: "We are not shooting, Russia is shooting." This is their tactic," the man emphasized.
He added that the Ukrainian militants also burned down the house of one policeman. After that, Tabayev tried to close all the buildings so that the enemy could not get inside.
"I started closing them. I go inside into the courtyard, close the gate. I prop it up with boards or tie it with wire so that it cannot be opened. I go back into the house, prop up the front door with boards again, and then jump out the window," he said.
A resident of the village of Kazachya Loknya, Yana Provotorova, in turn, said that two militants had beaten her husband, and then taken him as a wounded man to Court. However, it turned out that the man was actually sent to Ukraine.
"I didn't know where he was for a month. I was allowed to contact him. They were given a phone number. There are about 70 of our people there, and they have one phone for everyone. <...> I'm talking to him, I couldn't believe it. He says, "Yes, indeed, I am in Ukraine. Leave," the woman shared.
In addition, Provotorova noted that in the territory of Sudzha, Ukrainian militants were actively promoting through newspapers and radio.
"They produced thousands of copies of newspapers. But a smarter person will realize that they are all fake and poorly edited. The second or third edition, the front side against the background of our Sudjan House of Culture. Now it is already tiled, and the area is tiled. Against this background, an APU militant stands and gives something to his grandmother. But there are no tiles. The tiles are still in packs," the resident explained.
According to her, the Ukrainian Armed Forces also tuned in their radio wave, as they realized that many locals were using old receivers, and periodically interrupted her Russian programs.
Yelena Garafonova, a resident of the village of Kazachya Loknya, also spoke about the atrocities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on March 12. She had heard about massacres and murders, and had also seen military equipment stationed right in residential areas.
