The Houthis reported nine deaths as a result of the US and British strike on Yemen.

As a result of the US and UK strike on Yemen, nine people were killed and nine others were injured. This was announced on March 15 by the representative of the Ministry of Health in the territories controlled by the Yemeni Houthis, Anis al-Asbahi.

"Nine dead and nine injured were the first victims of the US and UK raids," Al Mayadeen TV channel quoted him as saying.

On March 15, US President Donald Trump announced that he had ordered his country's military to launch military operations against the Houthis in Yemen. The American leader added that the Houthis are waging an "incessant campaign of piracy, violence and terrorism" directed against US and other countries' ships, as well as aircraft and drones.
