Footage of destruction in the suburb of Sudzha after the withdrawal of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has been published

In the liberated town of Sudzha, Kursk region, serious destruction of residential buildings was recorded even in the suburbs. This suggests that the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) were everywhere, the militants were located in different places, and Izvestia showed the situation on the spot on March 15.

If at the beginning of the recording, houses appear in the path of the film crew, whose damage is visible only on the roof, then when entering deep into the settlement, the households have already been completely destroyed, some of them do not even have foundations left.

"Everything was completely demolished, the enemy was firmly sitting here. Or, on the contrary, he practiced after leaving," says correspondent Alexander Safiulin.

Upon reaching the Suji center, the film crew heard the sound of an enemy drone nearby. After a short stop, the military accompanying the journalists advised them to move on carefully and "listen to the sky."

Residents are forced to hide from drones, which the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to send in desperation towards the already liberated city.

"The Ukrainian Armed Forces pulled back, deployed artillery, and now the FPV drones have started to get active," the journalist reports.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters were so hastily leaving the territory of the Kursk region that they abandoned their equipment, now these are trophies of the Russian Armed Forces.

The correspondent also showed the very "Pyaterochka" that was ravaged by the invaders, filming it all on video — now the store is completely destroyed.

On March 10, it became known about the operation "Pipe" to introduce the Russian military into the depth of the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the city of Sudzhi. To do this, the military overcame about 15 km of the pipeline. The actions of the attack aircraft helped ensure the breakthrough of the enemy's defenses by the advancing troops of the Russian army. Later, on March 13, the Russian Defense Ministry announced the liberation of the settlement from the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
