The European Union (EU) wants to colonize Ukraine. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban made such a statement on March 15.

"The Empire does not want to help Ukraine, it wants to colonize it. The instrument of colonization is conflict," he said during a speech in Budapest on the occasion of the National Day of the Revolution of 1848.

According to the Hungarian Prime Minister, European leaders believe that Kiev should continue the conflict and as a result will be able to obtain EU membership, for which, as he noted, the Europeans "will still have to pay."

Orban, among other things, called for the European Union without Ukraine in unification.

He stressed that Europe has "plunged headlong" into the Ukrainian conflict, but Hungary stands for peace. The Prime Minister also compared the EU leadership to the Austrian Empire of the Habsburg dynasty, which Budapest fought against in the 19th century.Газета.Ru ".

Earlier in the day, Orban posted on social media a list of 12 demands to the EU. In particular, he demanded from Brussels a strict veto right for the member states and the non-admission of Ukraine to the European Union.

Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said on March 10 that the government still considers Ukraine's accession to the EU dangerous. At the same time, he clarified that Hungary is ready to represent any position of its citizens on this issue in the international arena.
