Vladislav Kamenev, a two-time Gagarin Cup winner and forward of the CSKA hockey club, was temporarily suspended for violating anti-doping rules. This was announced on March 15 in the club's press service with reference to the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL).

"Kamenev has been temporarily suspended from matches and training with the team until all the circumstances of the case are fully clarified," the website says.

On the afternoon of March 15, Sport-Express reported that Kamenev had passed a positive doping test. Presumably, meldonium was found in his body.

Kamenev joined CSKA Moscow in 2021. In the current season of the KHL regular season, he played 63 games, as a result of which he scored 10 goals and made 16 assists. He also played in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Nashville Predators and the Colorado Avalanche.Газета.Ru ".

On February 15, the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) suspended Italian world number one Yannick Sinner from competitions and training for three months due to a substance found in his samples. According to the athlete's explanation, the banned substance was part of the spray used by his doctor to treat a cut on his arm.
