- The military of the Russian Armed Forces spoke about the situation in Sudzha after the liberation of the city from the Ukrainian Armed Forces

After fleeing from the city of Sudzhi, Kursk region, the Ukrainian military continues to attack the settlement with attack drones. On March 15, Russian military personnel told Izvestia about the situation on the spot.
The situation in the city is still difficult, and the enemy has reactivated by launching attack drones into the air. The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are hitting with cluster munitions and artillery, but this will not help the militants in any way. The Russian military is moving forward and driving the enemy towards the border.
"Now we will move to Cherkassky Porechny district, it will be harder there, because it flies there. But we have guys in the back who, if anything, will see the "bird" and help her sit down. It won't be cold at all in Suja itself," warned Akhmat, the commander of the Aida group of special forces snipers with the call sign Thunder.
At the entrance to Suju, a crater is visible on the road from yesterday's fresh arrival of a shell, next to it stands a burnt-out passenger car. The car was attacked by cluster munitions. There is a looted bus station nearby.
In addition, a wall of concrete slabs was installed near the APU road in the hope of delaying the advance of Russian troops and consolidating the defense. However, the wall remained intact, and the Ukrainian militants simply fled, said Izvestia correspondent Emil Timashev.
On March 10, it became known about the operation "Pipe" to introduce the Russian military into the depth of the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the city of Sudzhi. To do this, the military overcame about 15 km of the pipeline. The actions of the stormtroopers helped ensure the breakthrough of the enemy's defenses by the advancing troops of the Russian army. Later, on March 13, the Russian Defense Ministry announced the liberation of the settlement from the Ukrainian Armed Forces. At the same time, footage from the destroyed Suji was published.
Residents evacuated from Sudzha, liberated from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, told Izvestia on March 15 how they met the Russian military who came to the settlement through a gas pipe. They said that the arrival of the Russian fighters was a great joy.
