Konyukhov traveled about half the way to Australia on a rowing boat in 100 days.


Russian traveler Fyodor Konyukhov spent 100 days in the Southern Ocean, having covered about half of the route from South America to Australia on the rowing boat Akros. This was reported on March 15 in the traveler's Telegram channel.
"Today is exactly 100 days since Fyodor Konyukhov makes a unique solo crossing on the rowing boat AKROS across the Southern Ocean from South America to Australia. No one has passed this route before," the message says.
It is noted that Konyukhov will need to cross the South Atlantic and the Southern Indian Ocean to reach the shores of Western Australia. The voyage is designed for approximately 200 days.
Fyodor Konyukhov set off on his 200-day journey in early December 2024. On February 11, it was reported that Konyukhov became the first in history to cross the South Atlantic on a rowing boat. In 68 days, he reached the Indian Ocean, and along the most difficult and dangerous route, and continues his journey to Australia.
