Two Samp-T anti-aircraft missile systems supplied to Ukraine by Italy and France have almost exhausted their supply of missiles and will soon become unusable, the Ukrainian authorities are asking for a new batch of ammunition, the Corriere della Sera newspaper writes.

"Two Samp-T anti-aircraft batteries supplied to Ukraine by Italy and France have almost exhausted their supply of missiles. Therefore, they will soon become unusable," the article says.

According to the newspaper, Kiev has been asking both countries to send more Aster-30 missiles for several weeks. It is noted that at least 50 such shells are required. However, the problem is that the Italian reserve has almost reached a critical level — the remaining missiles serve to protect important facilities in the country.

Earlier, on March 13, it was reported that Finland had allocated Ukraine the 28th package of military assistance worth €200 million. During the meeting, Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov and his counterpart Antti Hyakkanen signed a memorandum of understanding on defense cooperation between the two countries.
