In the liberated village of Martynovka, Kursk region, the suicide diary of a local resident was found, who, being in extremely difficult conditions, expressed her last wishes. This was announced on March 15 by the soldiers of the St. Petersburg special forces battalion "Akhmat".

The woman, whose name has not been disclosed, left a message to her granddaughter Elena, in which she shares her experiences and reflections on life and death.

"It's three degrees Celsius in the hut, the end is coming soon. I wish you to be alive and well," the woman wrote.

The letter also reflects her feelings of loneliness and fear of imminent death.

"It's getting colder every day. I live like I'm in solitary confinement. Everything is my own, but there is no gas, no light, no water. I feel sorry for the hut and my belongings... At least I would rather die than suffer," the diary says.

The letter pays special attention to congratulating her granddaughter on her upcoming birthday.

"Lena! Today is November 13th, I'm still alive, it's cold, but it's not raining, it's 4 degrees in the hut. Tomorrow is your birthday. Congratulations, I wish you health, happiness and all the best," wrote a resident of Martynovka.

In conclusion, the woman leaves her dying wishes.

"If you find even a bone, bury it near Sveta. Put up a cross and a photo," the letter says.

Martinovka's release became known on March 11. Later, on March 14, the acting head of the region, Alexander Khinshtein, said that since March 12, 209 people, including nine children, had been evacuated from the liberated settlements of the Kursk region.
