Romanian criminal Vasil Rodidal, who is wanted by the national Central Bureau of Interpol, has been arrested in Moscow. This was announced on March 15 by a source of Izvestia.
The detainee is accused of serious crimes in his homeland and was hiding from the Romanian investigation, after which he was put on the wanted list by Interpol in 2012.
It is specified that Rodidal lived in Russia under the name Vasily Kravtsov.
A court in Moscow chose a preventive measure in the form of arrest at the end of February, in order to then transfer Rodideal to Romanian law enforcement agencies. The extradition documents have already been sent to the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation.
Earlier, on March 11, it was reported that a Ukrainian citizen was detained in Poland, who was convicted in Kazakhstan for trafficking in human organs. The woman was detained at a railway crossing between Poland and Ukraine on the basis of an Interpol red notice.
