Russian Foreign Ministry delegation arrives in Pyongyang


Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko and a delegation arrived in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) on a visit. This was reported on March 15 by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).
"A delegation of the Russian Foreign Ministry headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko has arrived in Pyongyang," the statement said.
It is noted that at the airport of the city, the Russian representatives were met by employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic, the Russian Embassy and directly the Russian Ambassador to the DPRK Alexander Matsegora.
Secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK Central Committee) Lee Hee-young met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Kremlin on February 27. Later it became known that during the visit, Lee Hi-yong greeted Putin on behalf of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. The President of the Russian Federation, in turn, asked the secretary to convey his good wishes in response.
