The military told about the use of neural networks to repel attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Russian military personnel use special anti-drone networks to repel attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the area of a special military operation. The military told Izvestia about the benefits and features, as well as the installation of such networks.

So, according to the military, the installation of neural networks has become the daily work of the fighters. With their help, they create "security corridors", closing dangerous areas and thus preventing the operator of the enemy drone from entering the target.

"This is the most effective anti—drone device. <...> We are pulling on so-called "volleyballs" so that the drone cannot operate freely, but is forced to maneuver or gets entangled in the net," said the chief of staff of a separate engineering and sapper detachment named after him. Karbysheva with the call sign Aristocles in a conversation with Izvestia correspondent Valentin Trushnin.

Neural networks are made of nylon thread invisible to the drone, which can withstand high and low temperatures. The work of the second engineering sapper company, which is responsible for installing the network, is covered by a reconnaissance platoon.

According to the correspondent, in places where the road is completely protected by networks, the statistics of equipment damage from enemy UAVs are very low. The effectiveness of this solution was appreciated by everyone who drives here.

"If you are watching a drone or you hear its sound, its sound is characteristic, then it is advisable to hide behind the net. In 90% [of cases] it saves, a lot of cars have been saved," said a fighter from a separate engineering squad named after him. Karbysheva with the call sign Filin.

On the same day, it was reported that the D-30 howitzer crews of the 25th Combined Arms Army of the Zapad group of forces, while performing firing missions, destroyed a tank, a vehicle with ammunition in motion, mortar crews and manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of the special military operation (SVO).
