Stormy wind brought down trees and tore off parts of the roof in Moscow

A gale-force wind that hit Moscow on March 14 toppled trees and tore off the roof of a building. A video with the consequences of bad weather was shown by Izvestia.
The footage shows that the wind caused trees to collapse onto the roofs of cars parked next to residential buildings. At the same time, parts of roofing material from the roof fell on some vehicles.
In the video, special services personnel eliminate the effects of bad weather.
The day before, the Moscow headquarters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations warned that south-westerly and westerly winds with gusts are expected to increase in Moscow from night. The agency recommended parking in safe places and avoiding unstable structures.
Later, on March 14, due to bad weather, the entrance to the Muzeon Art Park and the New Tretyakov Gallery on Krymsky Val were temporarily closed.
